What it is
The Image Editor lets you make quick edits to images you generate with AI image generation, crop, resize, rotate, flip, add a text overlay, or place your logo, without leaving HubSpot. It is available directly from the AI image generation output, anywhere you can generate an image (email, social, website, and more).
Why it matters
AI-generated images rarely come out publish-ready. Text is often garbled, proportions may be wrong for the platform you are posting to, and there is no easy way to add your logo. Until now that meant downloading the image and finishing it in an external tool. With the editor built into the image generation output, you can go from generated image to publish-ready asset without switching tools or breaking your flow.
The Take
Casey Hawkins
For the very common I just need a quick hero image at the right size case, skipping the export-import round trip is exactly the friction worth removing.
We took this one for a live spin, and the honest verdict is that it is a nice, practical add. The two things that stood out: the built-in crop presets, which snap an image to the aspect ratio you need for a given placement, and being able to drop text or a logo on right there. Just being able to crop to the right size quickly is a real time saver.
It is not going to replace Canva or Adobe, and it is not trying to. Plenty of us will still finish serious creative in those tools. But for the very common case of I just need a quick hero image at the right size with a little text on it, skipping the export-import round trip is exactly the kind of small friction worth removing. It is in public beta now, with a wider release planned for early August. Fair warning from our demo: ask it for one image at a time for now, and if you want a specific size, the crop tool is more reliable than prompting for it.
