What it is
You can now see real-time progress on your imports: which processing stage you are in, a percentage complete for each stage, and your position in the queue if the import is waiting to run. It also tells you why you are waiting, whether every concurrent slot is taken or only the large-import slot, and imports under ten thousand rows can move ahead when only the large-import slot is full. Public beta, expected to be generally available the week of July 21, 2026.
Why it matters
Starting an import used to mean submitting a file and waiting with no visibility. You could not tell whether it was queued, actively processing, or stuck. Now you can see exactly where your import stands at every point, so you can spend less time wondering and more time acting on your data.

The real value is knowing nothing is broken.
The sharp observation here was that for a lot of us it is exports, not imports, that tend to take a while, especially when most of your data already lives in HubSpot. So this reads a little surprising at first. Where it earns its keep is migrations and portal-to-portal moves, the all-or-nothing records situations, or a complex import between an ERP and HubSpot where the process really is involved.
The bigger pattern is HubSpot steadily positioning to move up market, right alongside the recent association-limits change. When you are selling to bigger organizations, visibility into a queue stops being a nicety. The real value is knowing nothing is broken, that your import was accepted and is being processed, instead of sitting and wondering whether to wait, refresh, or troubleshoot.
