What it is

A meetings calendar is now available in the main navigation, where you can view and act on past and upcoming meetings.

Why it matters

The meetings calendar was previously only available inside the sales workspace and the customer success space. Moving it into the main navigation means every user can see their schedule in HubSpot, not just the people who work out of those two surfaces.

The Take

Features buried inside a workspace are invisible to everyone who does not work there.

On its face this is a quality-of-life change, and arguably one that could have shipped without a beta. The immediate win is that it is bookmarkable now, which only sharpens the standing wish that views were bookmarkable and not just pages.

The more interesting part is what it signals. If you are not working out of the sales or customer success workspaces, stumbling into this view is a small revelation. You can launch a Google Meet from it, you get your Breeze assistant summaries, and you can work an entire day's schedule without leaving the page. It fits the work platform direction HubSpot has been pushing with projects and adjacent tooling.

The next ask is unification for non-calendar events. But features buried inside a workspace are invisible to everyone who does not work there, and this is HubSpot deciding the workspace is not the only way in.
