HubSpot Updates: June 26, 2026

Six updates landed over the weekend, and most of them point at the same place: the CRM surface you actually work in. A refreshed theme, real-time table data reaching record pages, and a View All Properties panel on the timeline all make the everyday screen a little more responsive and a little less of a round trip. Rounding out the batch are a multi-brand improvement for quotes, a social inbox addition for Instagram, and a quieter sandbox fix for admins.

If you watched the show today, you already heard the conversation around most of these. If you did not, watch the recap to hear our thoughts on these updates and more.

Platform Updates Detailed

The New HubSpot Theme, and the Date It Becomes the Default

HubSpot is rolling out a refreshed visual theme across the product: lighter table headers, updated link styling, and new button colors, with the layout, card-based structure, and spacing you already know left in place. The latest round of refinements is available as early access now and reaches everyone on the theme on July 27, and the new theme becomes the default for all users on August 31. This applies to all hubs and tiers. Nothing about how HubSpot works changes here. What changes is how it looks and feels.

Why it matters: HubSpot is being open that this is step one of a longer redesign, released gradually so the full change feels familiar instead of sudden when it arrives. That is a reasonable way to move a few hundred thousand portals through a visual shift. The practical wrinkle is small things like the big orange button in the top right no longer being orange, which is exactly the kind of detail that trips up a demo or a training when half your clients are on the new theme and half are not. If you share your screen or train teams, get familiar with the new look now so the forced switch in late August is old news by the time it lands.

Real-Time Table Updates Reach Record Pages

Index and record pages now update property data in real time as records are created or modified, so a new record, an ownership change, or a status change shows up without a manual refresh. This is in public beta across all HubSpot products. The index-page side of this has been live for a while; the new piece is that record pages now refresh in place too. We covered the index-page version when it first arrived, and that earlier breakdown of real-time table updates has the original context.

Why it matters: If a workflow updates a property in the background, you now see it on the record you are already looking at, and a new deal can appear at the top of your view without a reload. Worth knowing the boundary: the report view on the index page still needs a manual refresh, and the data many of us most want live, reports and dashboards, is not part of this release. Useful to keep in mind before you treat a dashboard number as current when it is not.

View All Properties on the Activity Timeline

You can now open a View All Properties panel directly from a task, call, or meeting on the activity timeline, including any custom properties you have added, without leaving the record. Until now, custom properties on those activities were only visible from the index page, which meant leaving the record, finding the property, and coming back. This is live across all hubs and tiers.

Why it matters: Custom properties on calls, meetings, and tasks are how a lot of teams capture the detail that does not fit on the standard activity card, and seeing them used to mean a round trip to the index page. Keeping that view on the record saves a real interruption for anyone working AI-agent or activity data on those objects. It also reads as a step toward giving activities fuller record treatment, which would help the people drilling into hundreds of calls or meetings at a time.

Brands Support in Quotes

If you use HubSpot's Brands add-on, your quotes now carry the right brand automatically. When a quote is created it picks up the correct brand logo from the template editor, so the quote, its preview, the published quote page, buyer-facing emails, checkout, invoices, and receipts all reflect that brand without manual swapping. This is in private beta for Revenue Hub Enterprise and Professional and Marketing Hub Enterprise. You need a Marketing Enterprise subscription with the Brands add-on, and a Revenue Hub seat to create or share quotes.

Why it matters: Multi-brand businesses have lived with quotes defaulting to the portal's primary logo, which meant swapping branding by hand or, worse, downloading the document and fixing it outside HubSpot. Closing that gap carries a consistent brand experience all the way through quote-to-cash, and it is part of a steady run of multi-brand investment that is starting to make the Brands add-on more worth its price. For teams that should be on Brands but are not, this is one more reason to look again.

Instagram Direct Message File Attachments in the Social Inbox

When replying to Instagram direct messages in HubSpot's social inbox, you can now send images, audio files, PDFs, and videos directly from HubSpot. This is in private beta for Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise.

Why it matters: Instagram DMs are where a lot of product questions and early sales conversations actually happen, and a short video or a spec sheet often answers a question better than a text reply. Until now, sending anything beyond text meant leaving HubSpot for the Instagram app, which breaks the record of the conversation. Sending files from the social inbox keeps the whole exchange in one place. Modest on its own, but it closes a gap social teams felt every time they had to switch tools.

Sandboxes Show Clearer Errors When Assets Fail to Copy

When a supported asset fails to copy during sandbox creation, the error now tells you exactly why, whether it relies on an unsupported asset type, a dependency that no longer exists in production, or both, along with next steps for what to do about it. This is in development across the Enterprise tiers.

Why it matters: The old sandbox copy errors left people guessing whether the problem was an unsupported dependency, a deleted asset, or something else, and it got painful when one failure cascaded down a dependency chain, a workflow failing because of a form failing because of an unsupported asset. Naming the specific cause and where the chain broke turns blind troubleshooting into a fix you can actually make. It is one more piece of the ongoing work to make sandboxes behave like a real mirror of production.

Key Takeaways and Next Steps

The everyday CRM surface is the throughline: The theme refresh, real-time updates on record pages, and the View All Properties panel all make the screen you live in more responsive and less of a round trip. None is dramatic on its own, but together they show where HubSpot is spending its polish right now, on the place work actually gets done rather than where it gets tracked.

The redesign is the one with a deadline: Of everything in this batch, the new theme is the only update with a date attached. August 31 it becomes the default for everyone. If you train teams or run demos across client portals, the cost of being surprised is higher than the cost of getting familiar now, so the move is to spend time in the new look this summer.

Multi-brand keeps maturing: Brands support in Quotes closes one of the more visible gaps in the add-on, and paired with the multi-brand work earlier this year, it is becoming a more credible reason to be on the add-on rather than building workarounds. If you have clients running several brands out of one portal, this is worth a fresh look at what Brands now covers end to end.
