HubSpot Updates: June 9, 2026

Three updates landed Monday, and they pull in three different directions: AI moving deeper into the everyday CRM surfaces where people actually work, commerce options expanding at checkout, and a quiet but real improvement to email deliverability. Not a single theme, but a useful spread for marketers, sales teams, and commerce builders alike.

If you watched the show Wednesday, you already heard the conversation around all three of these, including a long live demo of the Breeze email work. If you did not: watch the recap to hear our thoughts on these updates and more.

Platform Updates Detailed

Compose Emails with Breeze Assistant

Breeze Assistant can now be invoked directly from the CRM email composer to help write emails. You prompt Breeze inline with a slash command, review the generated text, iterate on it, and insert it into the composer without leaving the record you are on. This is live across all hubs and tiers. Until now, Breeze could draft emails from the sidebar, but a lot of email work happens directly in the composer, where Breeze was not present.

Why it matters: The placement is the point. Bringing the assistant to where people already write means more of them will actually use it, instead of context-switching to a panel they forget exists. The honest caveat that came up testing this live: with no CRM context to draw on, the draft defaults to a generic sales-prospecting tone, because that is where the training data leans. The value is not the first draft. It is the moment right after, where you tell Breeze what is wrong, ask it to pull real context off the record, and fix the underlying data or template so the next draft starts closer. Treated that way, the composer becomes a place to improve your data, not just send another email.

Manage Klarna and Affirm Availability at Checkout

Affirm and Klarna are coming to HubSpot checkout as flexible payment options in the coming months. Buyers will be able to pay in installments through either provider while you receive the full payment upfront. This is available across a wide range of tiers, including Sales, Service, Marketing, Content, Data, and Commerce Hubs from Starter through Enterprise, and it ties into the HubSpot payments tool.

Why it matters: Buy-now-pay-later is table stakes for a lot of higher-ticket commerce, and the buyers who abandon a cart over a single large charge are exactly the ones installment options bring back. Getting paid in full upfront while the buyer pays over time removes the usual tradeoff for the seller. The bigger signal is the one worth tracking: commerce inside HubSpot keeps getting more serious, and this is one of several payments moves landing close together.

Domain Alignment on Shared Network

This one lets you configure a custom return-path domain for each of your email sending domains, so marketing emails can pass strict authentication policies while still sending over the shared network. With a custom return-path domain, your sending domain aligns with your From address, which strengthens authentication and improves deliverability. It also sets up future capabilities like BIMI, which displays your brand logo in recipients' inboxes. This is in public beta for Marketing Hub Enterprise.

Why it matters: Authentication is one of the strongest signals inbox providers use to decide whether to trust you, and the requirements keep getting stricter. For teams sending to high-scrutiny audiences, healthcare and financial services come to mind, this is the kind of infrastructure update that decides whether an email lands in the inbox or the void. It is narrow in tier reach and a little technical to wrap your head around, but if deliverability is a recurring fight for you, it is worth understanding.

Key Takeaways and Next Steps

AI is moving to where the work already happens: The Breeze email composer release is a small instance of a larger pattern. HubSpot keeps pushing the assistant onto the surfaces people already use rather than asking them to come to it. The teams that get value out of this are the ones who treat each generated draft as a prompt to fix their context, not as a finished product to send.

Commerce keeps getting more serious: Installment payments at checkout is not a niche add-on. It is a conversion lever for anyone selling higher-ticket items, and it fits a run of payments work that suggests HubSpot wants Commerce Hub to be a real part of the platform, not an afterthought.

Deliverability is quietly getting better tools: Domain alignment will not make headlines, but for the people fighting authentication battles every week, it is overdue. If your emails struggle to land with strict audiences, put this on your list to learn about.
