HubSpot Updates: June 12, 2026

Three updates came out of Friday, and two of them are evolutions of things you may have seen before: the Research Agent has a new name and a reworked interface, and the connected quote-to-cash experience has moved to public beta under a new hub. The third fills a small but real gap in how you share video.

If you watched the show today, you already heard the conversation around all three of these. If you did not: watch the recap to hear our thoughts on these updates and more.

Platform Updates Detailed

New Video Visibility Setting: Anyone With the Link

You can now share a video via a private link that anyone can view without a HubSpot login, without making the video publicly discoverable. When uploading or editing a video, you get four visibility options: Public for marketing and website content, Public no index for a viewable but unlisted URL, the new Anyone with the link for a token-protected URL that needs no login, and Private for logged-in HubSpot users only. This is live for Marketing Hub, Content Hub, and Service Hub Professional and Enterprise.

Why it matters: Until now the choice was fully public or locked to HubSpot users, with nothing in between. Sending a video to a prospect should be as simple as sending a link, with no login prompt, and at the same time you may not want that video turning up in search or reachable by anyone who stumbles onto the URL. The new setting is the one most teams will reach for on one-to-one emails and direct customer sharing.

Marketing Control Center

Formerly known as the Research Agent, Marketing Control Center is positioned as a marketer's home base. You run recurring analysis against your marketing efforts using pre-built or your own prompts, and get a tailored list of recommendations to act on. It includes a Breeze Chat side panel, scheduled prompts, and a prompt library. The interface has changed significantly enough that HubSpot is asking users to review the product notification to get oriented, and access comes with a required onboarding call. This is in private beta for Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise.

Why it matters: Combing through reports and pairing the numbers with qualitative context is slow work, and a data-first analysis tool is a real time-saver when it has clean data to work with. That last part is the catch worth planning around: the recommendations are only as good as your connected data, so this is one more reason to get your data consistent first. We went deeper on this one with George B. Thomas on the Friday recap, and you can hear that conversation in the June HubSpot updates recap with George.

Connected CPQ, Billing, and Payments

This connected quote-to-cash experience ties CPQ, billing, and payments into one end-to-end revenue lifecycle, with fewer billing schedule restrictions, automated operational tasks, and buyers guided to set up payment directly on quote acceptance. It has moved to public beta for Revenue Hub Professional and Enterprise, and seats are required to participate. To use it, toggle on create contracts from accepted quotes in Settings, Objects, Contracts. A few constraints are worth knowing going in: invoices generated by contract billing schedules cannot be edited, and recurring billing in the connected flow cannot be paused or resumed.

Why it matters: The space between a quote being accepted and cash being collected is where revenue operations does its least glamorous and most expensive work: manual billing setup, chased payments, hand-built financial documentation. Connecting the pieces shortens collection cycles, improves revenue predictability, and produces structured documentation for revenue recognition and audit needs. A single quote can now generate multiple payable invoices, which is the kind of flexibility billing teams have wanted. The honest read is that the hard part is still getting a billing team into HubSpot in the first place, but once they are in, this makes the rest easier.

Key Takeaways and Next Steps

Two of these reward a second look: If you saw the Research Agent or the connected billing flow when they were earlier in their rollout, the versions shipping now are different enough to revisit. Marketing Control Center has a reworked interface and a name that signals broader ambition, and Connected CPQ has graduated to public beta under Revenue Hub with the contracts-from-quotes step built in. Treat them as new evaluations, not features you already filed away.

Clean data is the price of entry for the AI tooling: Marketing Control Center is a data-first analysis tool, which means its recommendations live or die on how connected your data is. The pattern across HubSpot's recent AI releases is consistent: the tools are getting more capable, and the bottleneck is increasingly the quality of what you feed them. Getting data clean is no longer a separate project from getting value out of these features. It is the same project.
