AI-assisted invoice corrections with Breeze Assistant

What it is
You can now void a finalized invoice or issue a credit memo against it by describing the correction to Breeze Assistant. Breeze drafts the action, explains what it will do, and waits for your explicit approval before making any changes.
Why it matters
Correcting an invoice used to require knowing the right action upfront. Now you describe the problem in plain language and Breeze explains which corrections are available, why each applies, and what will happen before anything executes.
The Take
Chris Carolan
Getting it wrong meant irreversible actions or a bigger mess to unwind. I don't know that AI solves for that part necessarily.
Read the why-it-matters closely, because it contains its own caution. Getting an invoice correction wrong meant irreversible actions, and describing the problem in plain language does not make the underlying accounting decision reversible. AI does not solve that part.
What it does solve is smaller and still real: it puts the available corrections, the reasoning and the consequences in front of a human before they commit, instead of asking them to know the answer first. That helps the people doing the work.
The honest test is adoption. We would happily invent a prize for the first person who even hears of somebody using Breeze Assistant to manage invoices in any real way. That is how far this sits from practice today.
