Breeze Assistant in Gmail

What it is
In development. Breeze Assistant will be available directly inside Gmail through the HubSpot Sales extension, bringing AI powered email assistance together with HubSpot CRM context. Users will be able to prompt Breeze to generate or suggest email text, review and refine the result, and insert it directly into a Gmail compose window without leaving Gmail.
Why it matters
Gmail first users currently have limited access to Breeze Assistant and CRM context while composing, which forces app switching between Gmail and HubSpot to get the context they need.
The Take
Joshua Oakes
I want Breeze sidebar there with the lead record or the deal record open and auto suggested updates from the email thread if they haven't already been made.
The email drafting piece is the smaller story here. The more interesting direction is CRM context flowing the other way: Breeze reading what is on your Gmail screen and pushing suggested updates back into the lead or deal record, so a rep does not have to remember to log what a prospect just said in a reply.
Read alongside everything else Breeze has been shipping, this fits a bigger pattern worth watching: HubSpot AI operating outside HubSpot itself, not only inside the portal. That is the kind of capability that tends to get saved for a bigger pre INBOUND announcement, so do not be surprised if this one gets more attention as it gets closer to shipping.
It is in development, which means forward looking and no promises. There is nothing to set up yet. If your team lives in Gmail and has been asking for tighter CRM context without switching tabs, this is one to watch, not one to plan around this week.
