Connectors in Breeze Assistant

What it is
Breeze Assistant can now retrieve data, take actions, and coordinate across outside tools without leaving HubSpot, using new MCP (Model Context Protocol) connections rolling out in beta. The first connectors live now: Asana, Amplitude, Notion, Linear, and G2. Coming later in the beta: Gong, Box, Fathom, Clay, Atlassian, and more.
Why it matters
HubSpot is choosing to open the gates instead of trying to be the only tool in your stack. The strategic bet got named directly on today's show: "you understand what's happening and you open up all the gates so that people can keep using your context. Or you think that you can keep them on your platform and it's not going to go well for you." If a tool doesn't connect to what you already use, operators start looking elsewhere — this update is HubSpot betting on staying connected rather than staying closed.
The Take
Casey Hawkins
But now Claude just creates the task. So that kind of just removed me a little bit more.
I'll be honest about where my head went during this segment: every time a tool I switched away from gets a new integration, I feel it a little. We used to run Asana and Fathom, moved off both, and now watch the connector list grow for the tools we left. That's not a complaint about this update — it's a real signal about how fast this space moves.
The part of this I actually want operators to sit with is the human-in-the-loop question. I already have Claude creating Asana tasks for me. When I was manually copying text from Claude into Asana, there was a check built into that friction — I was, in theory, rereading the task on the way in. But now Claude just creates the task. That step disappeared, and I've had teammates come back and ask what I meant by a task I don't fully remember writing. As more of these connections go live inside Breeze Assistant, that's the tradeoff: less friction, fewer built-in checks. Use the connector for the first draft — the task, the category, the rough estimate — and keep a real review step for anything that goes to someone else.

FAQ
What tools can Breeze Assistant connect to right now?
Asana, Amplitude, Notion, Linear, and G2 are live today. Gong, Box, Fathom, Clay, and Atlassian are coming later in the beta, with more expected.
Do I need to do anything to get these connectors?
HubSpot describes this as a beta rollout with more connectors following throughout the year, on all hubs and tiers — check your Breeze Assistant settings for what's available in your portal.
Does connecting a tool remove human review from the workflow?
It can. Casey's experience on today's show: once Claude was connected directly to Asana, the manual copy-paste step that doubled as a review step disappeared. Treat a connector's output as a first draft, not a finished task.
