What it is

Convert an existing custom property from Not sensitive to Sensitive Data directly in the property editor, without creating a new property or rebuilding your setup.

Why it matters

Previously you had to create a new Sensitive Data property from scratch and re-establish every workflow, list and configuration tied to the original. Now you can protect data where it already lives.

The Take

Casey Hawkins

Previously, protecting an existing property meant starting over, creating a brand new sensitive property from scratch and manually rebuilding every workflow, list and configuration tied to the original. This update lets you convert a property to sensitive directly in the property editor instead. Worth naming: a host assumed HubSpot already worked this way and was corrected live on air, so if you thought this already existed, you were not alone, it likely came out of private beta first.
