What it is

On a CRM index page, you can now filter records using properties that live on their associated objects.

Why it matters

Answering a question that spans related records used to require an export or a custom report. Now you can filter across the association directly on the index page.

The Take

Casey Hawkins + Chris Carolan

This is the update that quietly changes how you interrogate the CRM. Filtering an index page by a property that lives on an associated object, contacts by their deal stage, companies by an open ticket, is the thing that used to force a detour into segments or an export. Now it is on the index page where you already are, and demoed live on the show it landed as the big one of the day.

The honest limits: you can filter on one association at a time for now, and when you need to stack conditions the panel points you to segments, which is a graceful way to expose that the deeper tool exists. It is a beta, so give it a minute to switch on. The bigger point is the one the show keeps landing on: this only pays off if you have leaned into your data model, because a filter across associations is only as good as the associations you have built.
