Custom quote domains for templates

What it is
As an admin, you can now choose which connected domain each quote template uses when you publish quotes, and any quote created from a template automatically uses that template's domain. Set it under Quotes > Settings > Templates by opening the template and choosing a connected domain; the list comes from Domain Manager, a template associated with a brand defaults to that brand's domain, and reps can see which domain a quote will use while they create it but cannot change it. Live for Revenue Hub Professional and Enterprise (panel dated October 5, 2026); admin permissions required.
Why it matters
If you manage more than one brand, you no longer have to publish every quote to the same default Quotes domain. You can assign a different domain to each template, so quotes publish on the domain that matches the brand they are sent from, and your customers get a consistent, on-brand experience.
The Take
I have wanted this for a very long time. The last thing a seller wants to send a client is a link that looks scary, and I have watched that one detail get in the way of sales adoption. People get excited about quotes in HubSpot, then hit a URL they cannot change, and the question becomes what are we paying for then. Zach had a different kind of aha on the show: he had assumed you could already set a different domain per quote template for a multi-brand company. He also made a point I agree with, that partners should be transparent about not knowing everything.
Here is the part to read before you flip it. Zach's word of caution, and he asked us to keep him honest on whether it has changed: when a client moves quote templates off the HubSpot-provided domain onto their own domain or subdomain, the links on every quote already sent break. His practice is to plan the redirects first, so old quote links still work. HubSpot's panel text does not say how existing quotes are handled, so treat that as unverified, test it with one template, and set up the redirects before you switch a template that has live quotes out in the world.
Who should act: admins running more than one brand, or anyone still sending quotes from the HubSpot-provided domain, should look at this now. A single-brand portal on its own connected domain can skip it. HubSpot's panel settles the rest: it is live for Revenue Hub Professional and Enterprise, you need admin permissions to set a domain on a template, and the domain has to be connected in Domain Manager first. Casey's Professional portal did not show it on air, so if yours does not either, check Domain Manager before you ask.
