What it is
The weekly coaching digest is an email showing your customer agent's performance stats and its top coaching recommendations. It arrives every Tuesday at 9 a.m. local time, so you do not have to log in to see it. Private beta for Customer Agent on Professional and Enterprise.
Why it matters
Coaching your customer agent improves its answers, but you have to remember to log in and read the data to know what needs attention, and when other priorities take over the coaching goes unnoticed. The digest sends a prioritized summary of what to fix and how straight to your inbox.
The Take
I think this is interesting, and I am also feeling notification overwhelm with HubSpot. Some of that is because I live in many portals, so I get these emails many times over. The important conversation is who should be reading these and who is responsible for them, because I personally get a lot of emails like this and end up not sure what to do with them. If no one knows who is responsible for them, then no one is responsible for them. I hope this thing lets you choose who gets it.
Chris's read is that the email channel is becoming something agents watch for you: an always-on assistant surfaced an unprompted question that morning about who handles Breeze data deletion requests, pulled from one of these notices. Casey's read is more pessimistic, that agents will generate even more email and the pool she never looks at just gets bigger, which is why she has agents sorting her inbox already. Either way, coaching is like the data model: always on the list, never actioned, because it is hard and undocumented. Whoever actions it first will do it with an agent saying here are the top three, ready to go.
