What it is
AI-powered insights surface which engagement events have historically driven conversions in your own portal, so you can build scoring rules grounded in real signal instead of guessed point values. The update now also carries a link to meet with the product manager for testing feedback.
Why it matters
Removes guesswork from choosing which events to score and what point values to assign, which teams normally pick with no real basis.
The Take
Casey Hawkins
A suggested twelve points or fourteen points means nothing in isolation. What matters is the number at which you actually hand someone off to sales.
This update suggests point values for events, twelve points, fourteen points, and on its own that number means nothing to me. It is not really about whether you are running a hundred-point scale or a ten-thousand-point scale either, because for most organizations the max score genuinely doesn't matter. What matters is your threshold: the number at which you actually hand someone off to sales. Decide that first, we hand off at fifty, and that decision is what should re-base every individual point value HubSpot suggests. Skip that step and you are accepting numbers with no anchor.
Scoring gets genuinely good when humans stop deciding point values by feel and Breeze helps set them with real data behind it. This is a step in that direction, but right now it is still an easy trap: a suggested value sounds reasonable, you click add to score, and then you own the cleanup when it turns out to be off. Chris's read is fair too. HubSpot put a meet-with-the-product-manager link on this update for feedback, and he wants that same conversational affordance sitting right next to the add-to-score button itself, so you can sanity-check a suggestion before you commit to it rather than after.
So: don't approve a suggested point value in isolation. Set your handoff threshold first, then judge whether these suggested events and points make sense against it. If you haven't defined your threshold yet, this one can wait. Go define that, then come back.

FAQ
Does this touch my portal?
Yes, if you're on Sales or Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise and use lead scoring.
How do I get it?
It's live now inside the scoring rules builder; the update also added a link to meet with the product manager if you want to give direct feedback.
What do I do next?
Before accepting any suggested point value, define the threshold at which you actually hand a record off to sales — that number should drive every individual point value, not the other way around.
