What it is

A streamlined experience for creating and managing goals, featuring an upgraded creation flow, an optimized goal targets table, and intuitive bulk actions.

Why it matters

Previously, managing and editing goal targets was a confusing and inefficient experience for users. The process was frequently hindered by unclear action triggers, disorienting navigation paths, and redundant options that cluttered the workflow and increased the likelihood of friction. To address these pain points, this update introduces a streamlined workflow that makes setting and tracking goals significantly easier. By eliminating redundancies and reducing user errors, the refreshed interface aligns seamlessly with platform standards to deliver a highly intuitive and cohesive user experience.

The Take

If you're an admin or manager, this is your job in 2027: get your team talking to Breeze.
— Chris Carolan

Per the panel, goals get a streamlined experience: an upgraded creation flow, an optimized goal targets table, and bulk actions. It is live for Professional and Enterprise across Sales and Service. The line I read on air from the What's changed section is the one that matters to me: “You can now use Breeze Assistant to create sales goals for your team,” with suggested targets based on your existing goals and performance data. As read, it can help with revenue, deal, call, and meeting goals, and you can ask it to modify targets on existing goals.

Casey read the Why and laughed at it. Unclear action triggers, disorienting navigation: she started imagining a haunted house. Oaks has been through this with clients: when an organization gets to the point of rolling out goals for the sales team, he opens the first session with “I'm so sorry for what you're about to experience.” And he pointed out that if you subtract the holidays, Q4 is half over, so 2027 goals are coming.

Here is the part I want you to hear. Most goal setting I have watched is a spreadsheet: “Revenue is this, which means we got to sell twice as much of this. Deal, everybody?” with no question about whether the pipeline can support it. I can't wait to hear about the moments where you give Breeze a goal, and Breeze is like, what? In what world does your deal pipeline support that goal? Not the portal I'm looking at. That is my prediction, not something we saw happen on air, so test it before you plan around it.

The pull quote is what I would tell any admin or manager: “If you're an admin or manager, this is your job in 2027: get your team talking to Breeze.” If sales managers talk to Breeze about goals, they naturally explain to Breeze why a number is a number, and your CRM gets updated along the way. Oaks added that as admins we also need to build the portal's AI context layer, and maybe knowledge vaults, for adoption and value. That is a lot of what our boot camp will be about.

What to do: if you run Sales or Service on Professional or Enterprise and you will set 2027 goals in HubSpot, open the new creation flow this week in a test goal, try asking Breeze Assistant for a suggested target, and see whether it agrees with your pipeline. If you set goals outside HubSpot and have no plans to move them, you can wait.
