Improved video thumbnail editing for social & other platforms

What it is

Video thumbnail editing now opens in a modal with a scrubber, so you can pick any frame from your video as the thumbnail. It works the same way from the social composer, the video details page, and the Optimization tab. Once you set a thumbnail, it updates everywhere that video is shared or hosted.

Why it matters

Before, you had to type a timestamp and hope it landed on the right frame, or scrub through a tiny preview. For social posts, the thumbnail often decides whether someone stops scrolling, and this extra effort pushed marketers to finish the job in other platforms. Now you get a full-size preview and a frame-by-frame scrubber, with the same experience wherever you work.
