Inline Association Tables
What it is
An expandable inline table on a CRM record's row lets you view and manage that record's associated records without leaving the page. On any CRM index page, click the caret next to a record row to expand it, select the associated object type, then search, filter, adjust columns or take bulk actions without navigating away. This is Customer Success's version, and it is available on Service Hub Professional and Enterprise.
Why it matters
Answering a question that spans related records used to mean navigating away or running an export. Now it happens in place, on the record you are already looking at. Worth knowing there are two of these. CRM shipped its own inline association table two days later, free on all hubs and tiers for any portal on the new index UI. Same mechanic, different door — this is the Service Hub one.
The Take
This is one half of the association story the show has been tracking. On the July 20 episode, the filters team's work on association-aware views (expected before Unbound) came up on air; this is a piece of that direction landing. The value is concrete: stop bouncing between objects to answer a single cross-object question. The one to watch is whether it stays a Service Hub feature or spreads across the CRM, because the need is not Service-specific.
