Legacy Private App Creation Sunset

What it is

From late September 2026 you can no longer create new legacy private apps through the Developer Platform UI. New developer accounts lose it September 28, 2026; existing accounts October 26, 2026. Existing legacy private apps continue to work.

Why it matters

Legacy private apps run on older infrastructure that is harder to secure and maintain. Migrate existing ones to the Projects-based framework.
