Marketing HubProfessionalEnterprisePublic beta

What it is

This update, previously in private beta as 'Marketing Studio: Chat to Plan Your Campaign,' has moved to public beta and shipped under a new name: Campaign Agent. You can now chat directly with Breeze Assistant to turn a goal or insight into a complete campaign plan, channels, audience, messaging, and assets, all connected to the same objective and context, and it now also builds the campaign automation for you. It's in public beta for Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise.

Why it matters

The previous Marketing Studio flow required filling out a campaign brief upfront, even when the idea was still half-formed. That is not how most marketers work. The looser starting point, a sentence or two, a rough direction, is the actual starting point, and the structured brief comes later if at all. Chatting your way into a campaign plan matches how people are already using AI tools outside the platform: capture the idea on a phone in a parking lot, refine it in a chat thread, end up with something close to publishable. This update brings that workflow inside HubSpot, which is where the assets and the audience already live, and now extends it to building the campaign automation itself, not just the plan.

The Take

Casey Hawkins

If you're doing it in HubSpot, you're going to give HubSpot more data and it's going to keep getting better.
— Casey Hawkins

Campaign Agent turns the Marketing Studio brief into a conversation. Instead of filling out the campaign brief up front when you do not have the details yet, you chat with Breeze Assistant, it asks the clarifying questions, suggests assets that fit your goals and brand, and builds the campaign automation so more of the time goes to getting the campaign live. Casey's take is the one she is going to keep saying: this is useful for teams once they can change behaviors, and behavior is the hard part. Most marketers already do this kind of planning in some AI tool, and that tool already works where it works. Switching means doing it for the first time in HubSpot and having it get things wrong that your usual tool does not. But if you do it in HubSpot, you are giving HubSpot more data, it can look at how past campaigns performed, your team gets more visibility, and it keeps getting better the more you use it. Madelyn's framing closes it: switching any software costs you an adjustment, but it is different when it is already your CRM. You are not going to regret having the data in the place you use for everything else. Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise, public beta.
