What it is
You can now connect a Microsoft Ads account to HubSpot to view reporting and attribution data alongside your other ad channels, including how many contacts interacted with your ads and the ROI of ads associated to deals.
Why it matters
A missing ad channel does not just leave one gap, it undermines the whole ads reporting surface, because you are never looking at a complete picture. Closing this one restores the value of everything around it.
The Take
Casey Hawkins + Chris Carolan
Remember when there were only three there and HubSpot acted like there were no other places or ways to run ads?
The interesting part of this is not Microsoft. It is that a single missing channel had been enough to keep teams off HubSpot's ads tooling entirely. If one of your primary platforms cannot report through HubSpot, the rest of the ads reporting is not worth much, because every number you look at is partial. That blocker is now gone.
Worth noting how different the channel list looks now: Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft, Reddit and ChatGPT. Not long ago HubSpot acknowledged three and behaved as though there were no other ways to run ads. The order of arrivals is its own small story, since ChatGPT ads shipped before Microsoft did.
What to do: if Microsoft is a real channel for you, connect it and then re-examine any ads conclusion you drew while it was invisible. Some of those conclusions were drawn on partial data.

FAQ
What can I see once connected?
Reporting and attribution alongside your other ad channels, how many contacts interacted with your ads, and the ROI of ads associated to deals, which Microsoft Ads cannot measure on its own.
Who gets it?
All HubSpot hubs and tiers.
Does this touch my portal?
Only if you run Microsoft Ads. If you do, it likely changes how much you can trust every other ads report you have.
