What it is
Reps can replay call recordings, review AI summaries and transcripts, and accept, edit or dismiss AI-suggested tasks and CRM updates in the HubSpot mobile app after a HubSpot Calling engagement. The call view has Details, Review and Actions tabs. Non-recorded or third-party provider calls show the Details tab only. Live, last updated October 8, 2026. The Details tab is available to all hubs and tiers on iOS and Android. The Review and Actions tabs are for Starter Core, Sales Hub Professional and above, and Service Hub Professional and above seated users. It requires HubSpot Calling and generative AI settings turned on.
Why it matters
Recordings and AI summaries used to be desktop-only, so reps deferred admin work or relied on memory, which led to forgotten follow-ups and incomplete CRM data. Bringing call recaps and suggested next steps to mobile means CRM updates and follow-up tasks get captured right after the call.
The Take
Casey had this one on her screen and I did not have it on mine, which tells you how much of this depends on your seat and tier. The Review and Actions tabs are limited to Starter Core, Sales Hub Pro+ and Service Hub Pro+ seated users, and both HubSpot Calling and the generative AI settings have to be on.
What I care about is what the tabs ask a person to do. "This is the most impactful five minutes of anybody's day. It's after the transcript comes in. Does this stuff make sense? Are they getting names spelled right? Is this actually a task or action item? Or was it just said in a certain way to make AI think that?" We talked a lot about this while building our own AI-based system. Showing AI-suggested follow-up tasks and CRM property updates on the phone is something we would all love to see. But "that's where the human five percent is super important and making sure those are correct. Not quite to the days of self-updating CRM."
Who should act: reps and managers who take calls through HubSpot Calling on the mobile app, on a qualifying tier and seat. Admins should check that the generative AI settings are on, then tell reps what a good review looks like: names, real tasks, accurate property updates. Who can skip it: teams that do not use HubSpot Calling, or whose calls come through a third-party provider or are not recorded, since those calls show only the Details tab.
