What it is

Set your preferred notification method, such as email or in-app, to stay informed about issues with automations created in the forms app and about out-of-range changes in form submission rate.

Why it matters

Form automations are central to lead generation. When something breaks or a submission rate moves unexpectedly, admins need to hear about it in time to keep the automation running as intended.

The Take

Joshua Oakes

This one moved from public beta to live in the post-UNBOUND wave, and it is worth a second look now that it is done. Enterprise portals already have fine control over workflow notifications, who gets told and whether a workflow fired too much or too little, but form automations have mostly had one move: email a person when the form is submitted. Getting the same control over when and why you hear about a form automation is a real win for admins, especially on the edge-case forms a customer only fills out in an unusual scenario.

Two cautions came out of the room. Out-of-range alerts on a low-volume automation fire constantly, because one or two extra submissions is a big percentage swing, and anything tied to closing deals carries a built-in end-of-month spike and start-of-month dip. And plenty of teams use their inbox as a to-do list, so an alert that arrives alongside two hundred others is not visibility. Below Enterprise, the read is that most portals do not have the volume for these swings to be meaningful anyway.
