Property Comparisons in Segments and Workflows

What it is

Property Comparisons let users filter records by comparing one property's value directly against another, rather than a fixed, manually entered value. Instead of asking "does this deal exceed $10,000?", users can ask "does this deal's amount exceed the deal's target amount?" Both sides of the condition are live property values.

Why it matters

When the condition you need is "deal amount is less than target amount," a static value filter can't help. Users have worked around this with calculated properties and rollups, which are proxies that add maintenance overhead and still don't always fit. Property comparisons let users express these conditions directly, without workarounds.
