What it is
The AI Clips panel in the social tool now surfaces recommended made-for-you clips that HubSpot's video clipping agent has already pulled from your uploaded videos, ready to preview and drop straight into a post. Recommended clips appear only if your portal already has clip suggestions generated from the suggestions tab in the video dashboard.
Why it matters
Turning a long video into something post-worthy normally means choosing the right video, waiting for it to process and scrubbing through footage for the best moment. Recommended clips do that first pass for you and put the strongest moments in front of you the moment the panel opens.

This has been available for a while, so read it as part of the run of social updates rather than a new thing. If your AI Clips panel is empty, that is the prerequisite talking. You need clip suggestions in the portal first, generated from the suggestions tab in the video dashboard, and then they are waiting for you in the composer.
The interesting part is what happens when this meets the social content agent. We are already doing a version of this in our own architecture outside HubSpot, make some clips and let it look at everything. If we can do that inside HubSpot instead, that gets a lot closer to where this belongs.
More succinctly: hey agent, I want to post about this, with this video. Then it goes and pulls the CRM context on its own. Add custom instructions on top of that, go find the ways our clients talk about this thing and use those words, and that would be amazing for a lot of folks.
