Reporting API for Managing Reports and Dashboards Programmatically

What it is

The new Reporting API, in public beta for Professional, Enterprise, and Credits customers, lets you create, clone, search, update, archive, and restore dashboards, and search, update, archive, and restore the metadata of existing reports, all programmatically.

Why it matters

This only matters if you manage enough dashboards and reports that bulk owner or permission changes, cloning a dashboard for a new team, or automated provisioning would actually save real effort — and you have someone who can build against an API. If you manage a handful of dashboards by hand, there's no reason to act on this yet.
