What it is
API endpoints for sequences. Create, retrieve, update, and delete them, plus pull sequence performance data, so sequences can be managed and reported on outside the HubSpot UI.
Why it matters
Sequence data has been UI-only. Exposing it lets external tools, reporting stacks, and AI assistants read and manage sequences directly rather than a person clicking through the app.

Covered on the show as a pair with the sales templates API rather than on its own, and the pairing is the point. These two landing on the same day is the best evidence that the templates in question are message templates, since sequences and message templates have always worked hand in hand.
