What it is
You can now apply a color theme to an entire dashboard, so all eligible reports display using the same color palette without changing individual report settings.
Why it matters
Dashboard color themes let you set a consistent look for an entire dashboard in one step, making your data easier to read and understand at a glance.
The Take
Zach Hussion
There's nothing worse than doing all the work to get the data right and telling a story, and then somebody's like, 'I thought red meant bad.'
I've built enough dashboards to know the actual pain here isn't ugly reports, it's mismatched ones. You get the data right, you tell the story, and then the one person in the room derails the whole meeting because red meant "bad" on your slide and something else on the next one. That's not a design problem, that's a trust problem, and it costs you the room.
This fixes it in one click: pick a brand kit palette, apply it to the whole dashboard, done. No more chasing down every new report someone adds to make sure the colors still line up. It's private beta and it's a small update, but if you're the one who owns reporting for stakeholders who care about visual consistency, get into this beta this week; it's low effort and it removes a genuinely recurring headache. If nobody in your org has ever pushed back on your color choices, skip it knowingly, this one just isn't solving your problem.

FAQ
Does this touch my portal?
Yes, if you opt in. It's in public beta across all hubs and tiers, so any portal can turn it on and try it now.
Do I need to redo my existing reports?
No. The theme applies to the whole dashboard at once, you don't have to reset individual report color settings.
Who should prioritize this?
Anyone who owns dashboard or reporting presentation for stakeholders who notice and care about visual consistency.
