What Content Hub is, and what changed in 2026
You run HubSpot already, you make images, emails, landing pages and video clips somewhere, and you are trying to work out what actually moved this year versus what is still a promise.
If you have five minutes
- Content Hub is the production side of HubSpot's content work: an image editor, the marketing email design surface, landing pages built by a content agent, sandbox copies of web content for testing changes safely, a customer agent that can generate and coach on written answers, and — the piece that reaches into Marketing Hub — video clips surfaced for social posts.
- It is not a single tool. It is where several separate production jobs live inside the same portal you already use for the CRM.
What Content Hub is, in one screen
Content Hub is the production side of HubSpot's content work: an image editor, the marketing email design surface, landing pages built by a content agent, sandbox copies of web content for testing changes safely, a customer agent that can generate and coach on written answers, and — the piece that reaches into Marketing Hub — video clips surfaced for social posts. It is not a single tool. It is where several separate production jobs live inside the same portal you already use for the CRM.
Say this plainly first
This is the thinnest-covered Hub in the show's own archive — three segments carried a real, signed take this year, the fewest own takes of any of the nine Hubs. That is not a reason to skip it. It is a reason to be exact about what is actually known versus what is still archive-adjacent, and to say so on the page rather than papering over it.
What changed in 2026, in the three things the show actually took a stance on
Three 2026 features got a real, on-air verdict — not a mention, a verdict, with a caveat attached each time.
- Image Editor — public beta
- Public beta as of this write-up, first covered on air 2026-07-15 and revisited 2026-08-28. Casey Hawkins took this one for a live spin. Her verdict: "It is not going to replace Canva or Adobe, and it is not trying to. Plenty of us will still finish serious creative in those tools. But for the very common case of I just need a quick hero image at the right size with a little text on it, skipping the export-import round trip is exactly the kind of small friction worth removing." Her fair warning from the demo: ask it for one image at a time, and if you want a specific size, trust the crop tool over prompting for it.
- Rounded Corners and Border Enhancements in Marketing Email — public beta
- Public beta, first covered on air 2026-08-28. Madelyn Donovan's honest account of the gap this closes: "...people always ask what it can and cannot do, she always says you can do anything because it is a normal editor, and then she forgets every time that the sections are exactly the thing you cannot customize." Not the background color, not the text containers — the section itself. That is what this update touches.
- Recommended Video Clips for Social Posts — live
- Live, first covered on air 2026-08-19 and revisited 2026-08-21. Chris Carolan's take names both what shipped and where he wants it to go: "If your AI Clips panel is empty, that is the prerequisite talking. You need clip suggestions in the portal first, generated from the suggestions tab in the video dashboard, and then they are waiting for you in the composer." He goes further than the feature as shipped: "hey agent, I want to post about this, with this video. Then it goes and pulls the CRM context on its own. Add custom instructions on top of that, go find the ways our clients talk about this thing and use those words, and that would be amazing for a lot of folks."
Two more 2026 records sit in the same lane without a recorded on-air take yet, worth knowing by name: GPT Image 2.0 for AI Image Generation, which is live, sits underneath the Image Editor's generation step, and Send designs from Claude to HubSpot, also live, moves a design straight from Claude into the portal. Both are filed under this Hub, alone or with one other; neither has a quoted verdict on record yet.
What is still a beta, not a shipped capability
- Create landing pages with Content Agent — private beta.
- Sandbox creation soon copies website, and landing pages from production — in development, not yet shipped in any form.
- Advanced Blog Creation from Breeze Assistant, Powered by Content Agent — private beta.
- Cleanup Automation Now Deletes Unused Marketing Emails — public beta.
None of these four carry a recorded on-air verdict. Naming them here is a pointer to what to watch, not a claim that they behave as described once you turn them on.
Where "most Video updates" actually points
Chris's steer on this door was direct: "Yes and most Video updates." Checked against the record, that steer runs into a real gap worth naming rather than smoothing over. Only one video-titled 2026 update is actually filed under Content Hub: Recommended Video Clips for Social Posts, above. Three more video-titled updates exist in the wider archive, each confirmed as something the show genuinely covered, and none of them currently carries a Content Hub tag at all.
| Title | Status | The show covered it | Hub tag today |
|---|---|---|---|
| New Video Sharing Menu | live | 2026-07-10 | none |
| New Video Visibility Setting: Anyone With the Link | live | 2026-06-12 | none |
| Seeking Participants to Test Experimental AI Video Ad Generation Tool | (no status recorded) | 2026-05-26 | none |
These are pointers, not summaries — the show covered each on the date shown, and nothing beyond the title and date is claimed here because that is what is on record for them. Whether they belong on this page as members is a tagging decision for whoever owns the Hub value, not a copy choice this door can make for them.
The archive beyond the show's own coverage
Content Hub's subjects — content remix, podcast import, landing pages, website content, content organization — show up across other Value-First shows going back further than this show's own run. These are pointers to episodes not read in full here, named so a reader can go find them directly rather than trusting a summary of them:
- The show Let's Build Daily covered "Unboxing Content Hub" on 2024-04-04.
- The same show covered "Unboxing HubSpot Content Remix" on 2024-04-05.
- The same show covered "Unboxing HubSpot Podcasts Tool" on 2024-06-18.
- The same show covered "Content Organization in HubSpot" on 2024-07-29.
- The same show covered personalized landing pages using ICP and audience profile on 2024-10-24.
- The show Let's Build Content Hub covered "Unboxing Podcast Import with Ankur Gupta" on 2025-02-08.
- The show Let's Unbox covered "Content Remix" with two guests on 2025-06-26, and covered "the HubSpot Remix Tool" again on 2025-10-21.

Where to next
Where this comes from
- Casey Hawkins on the Image Editor, on air. her verdict and the one-image-at-a-time warning from the live demo; first covered 2026-07-15, revisited 2026-08-28
- Madelyn Donovan on rounded corners and borders in marketing email. the gap the update closes, in her own account of what the editor could never do; first covered 2026-08-28
- Chris Carolan on Recommended Video Clips for Social Posts. the prerequisite that makes the clips appear, and where he wants the feature to go next; first covered 2026-08-19, revisited 2026-08-21
- The show's own HubSpot Updates records filed under Content Hub. every status named here — live, public beta, private beta, in development — as the record carried it on the day this door was written
- The Value-First show archive, 2024 and 2025. Let's Build Daily, Let's Build Content Hub and Let's Unbox episodes on Content Hub subjects, named as pointers rather than read in full here
What we do not know yet
- No HubSpot-published release date exists in this archive for any 2026 feature named above — every date here is "first covered on air," not HubSpot's own release or general-availability date. Pull the real release date from the live HubSpot Updates record before citing one as a fact.
- The homepage's own episode tally for this Hub is inflated by stray associations to horoscope-type records that are not episodes at all — real on-air coverage of this Hub's subjects is smaller than the public number on the page today. That correction has not yet been made on the live site.
- Two internal working conversations on record clearly touch content remix and in-portal video generation. They are not quoted here because they are internal working sessions, not published, on-air material — the standard this door holds to.
- Whether the three hub-less video updates above get tagged into Content Hub is an open tagging decision, not something this door can resolve.
About to turn one of these on?
Bring it to a morning and we will go through it live — the image editor, the rounded-corners beta, the clips in the composer, whichever one you are looking at.
