Buying Groups
The one that changes a lesson. Complex sales run through a committee, and HubSpot now models it natively — a Buying Group card for the stakeholders and an Account Map for the company structure, parent-child relationships included.
You were out the whole month. Here is August in the shape it actually had — not a changelog, the four things that moved.
89 updates covered across 19 release days
Breeze stopped being a feature and became the surface — roughly a fifth of everything covered this month was either Breeze or the plumbing underneath it, and four social AI tools are being retired into it. The mobile app was rebuilt end to end on a single day. Sales got a real model of the buying committee. And scoring, which you teach, grew both an API and the insight panel that tells you whether a rule does anything.
The retirements are at the foot of the page — that is the part that dates anything you have already taught.
Where we cut a segment for one, it plays right here — the show working through it start to finish, so you can watch instead of read. Full mornings are on the watch page.

Scoring stops being a guess. Reach, average points, distribution and a score-impact summary now render as you build the rule, so "is anyone actually getting points for this?" is answerable before the score goes live rather than after.
Quietly the most consequential plumbing change of the month. Merging two records used to mint a brand-new ID and break every integration that cached the old one, silently. The primary record now keeps its ID and the secondary becomes a forward reference.
Every screen in the mobile app moved to the new design system, and it landed the same day as a rebuilt sales home screen. Any mobile walkthrough recorded before August 27 now shows an app that no longer exists.
Read the recordThe show had been waiting on this one. Recorded meetings no longer mint a duplicate call record behind your back — which also means anything keyed to call records for recorded meetings has to move to the meeting object.
Long asked for. A workflow can now associate two records through a shared intermediary — a company that touches both a deal and a contact can bridge them — instead of only matching on a property value.
The same explorer the main feed uses, scoped to August. Search the text, filter by status, or set your portal once and keep only what actually touches it.
